The emergency walk-in clinic at the  Center for Psychiatric Health  on Kornhausgasse 7 is one of two contact points at UPK Basel where you can receive support without an appointment. You can schedule an appointment by phone or online.

Alternatively, you can come without an appointment during opening hours, Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, for an initial assessment in the open consultation.

Upon arrival, a friendly, interdisciplinary team in an open, welcoming atmosphere will greet you. After an initial assessment, further steps will be initiated to best support you on your way back to a fulfilling life. We offer professional care for individuals in acute need of treatment. In addition to outpatient assessments and treatments, we also work closely with inpatient departments.

Please note that, depending on patient volume, the waiting time can be two hours or more. You can inquire in advance with our secretariat if a longer waiting time is expected.
