The Walk-In Clinic at the Centre for Psychiatric Health, at Kornhausgasse 7, is one of two points of contact at UPK Basel where you can receive support without an appointment. You can also book an appointment with us by telephone or online.

Alternatively, you may attend without an appointment during our opening hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for an initial assessment during our open consultation sessions.

When you arrive, you will be welcomed by a multidisciplinary team in a friendly and open environment. Following an initial assessment, the team will arrange the next steps to provide you with the most appropriate support and help you on your way towards a fulfilling life.

We provide professional care for people who require urgent treatment. In addition to outpatient assessments and treatment, we also work closely with our inpatient departments.

Please note that, depending on the number of patients attending, waiting times may be two hours or more. You are welcome to contact our reception team in advance to ask whether a longer waiting time is expected.
