The U2 ward is for people with drug-related problems as well as severe alcohol dependence, including those with additional mental health conditions. Treatment is provided on an inpatient basis.

We work in line with recovery principles. This means we respect each patient’s individuality and support their personal responsibility. The aim of treatment in our open ward is complete or partial withdrawal, along with psychosocial stabilisation. Any secondary conditions arising from addiction can also be assessed and treated to a limited extent in collaboration with our specialist consultation services.
