Department of Juvenile Forensics
Situated within the Clinic for Forensic, the department treats adolescents who have committed an offence in the context of a psychiatric condition and have subsequently been ordered by a youth court to undergo therapeutic treatment, as well as those who exhibit severe disorders of social behaviour. Referrals may also be made by civil authorities, and adolescents or their families may seek help voluntarily. The service is intended for adolescents experiencing conditions such as schizophrenia spectrum disorders, autism spectrum disorders or disorders of personality development.
In addition to the outpatient services provided by the Juvenile Forensic Outpatient Clinic (JAM), the Clinic for Forensics also offers inpatient treatment in Department R3.
