Outpatient Addiction Clinic (SAM)
The Outpatient Addiction Clinic (formerly Janus, AfS, and ADS) specializes in opioid agonist therapy (OAT) for heroin and opioid addiction. As a regional centre of excellence, we conduct diagnostic assessments and provide therapy for individuals at increased risk of or already suffering from substance use disorders. We also specialize in early intervention and relapse prevention. We help patients aged 16 and over (or younger by arrangement).
Our team of around 40 people works on an interdisciplinary basis and is made up of staff from the fields of medicine, psychology and psychotherapy, nursing, and social work.
