Acute treatment for depression
The inpatient unit Acute Treatment - Focus on Depression (P1) specialises in the treatment of depressive disorders in older adults. At the same time, co-occurring addiction disorders and personality disorders are also treated.
The primary treatment goals are the reduction of symptoms and psychological stabilisation. In addition, thorough preparation is provided for discharge back into the community, whether returning home or moving to a (new) supported living environment. Our aim is to enable the highest possible quality of life and independence for our patients.
