Art is an integral part of the cultural engagement of the University Psychiatric Clinics Basel. Art supports the idea of cultural understanding and contributes to opening up the field of psychiatry. For this reason, we regularly host art exhibitions. The exhibitions engage with themes relating to society and psychiatry and form part of the clinic’s cultural ethos. They showcase a wide range of artistic forms and modes of expression.

The exhibition openings are open to the public and provide a platform for informal exchange and encounters. The regularly changing exhibitions take place in our management building and reflect many different aspects of human expression.
