Department of Psychosis in Older Adults (APA)
The Department of Psychosis in Older Adults (APA) is an acute care unit dedicated to older patients.
Its primary areas of treatment include delusional disorders (including schizophrenia spectrum disorders and schizoaffective disorders), as well as other organic psychiatric conditions. These conditions are assessed and treated using the full range of diagnostic and therapeutic methods available within a university medical centre. Particular emphasis is also placed on targeted non-pharmacological and psychotherapeutic interventions.
